Appointed as a Public Governor for the Trust in August 2015
I have been a resident of Medway for 45 years. I studied Biomedical Science at Bradford University and have a continuing interest in Medical Research. As an IT professional, I have always worked in the public sector, gaining wide experience of Local Government.
Why I became a Governor
My wife has long term medical conditions which have allowed me to see the best and worst of the hospital; I wanted to put my experience to use in helping the hospital develop into a centre of excellence as well as an innovator in technologies.
What I plan to achieve
To help the Trust to develop an effective IT strategy to delivery consistency, efficiency and savings and to help to improve all forms of communication within the Trust and wider area.
- All forms of technology
- Medical research
- Patient care
