Are you committed to delivering the best of care through the best of people?

Date: 29 June 2016

Medway NHS Foundation Trust is unique – undergoing transformational changes within the organisation that provides an extensive range of clinical services to a diverse population of approximately 400,000 across Medway and Swale. We are looking for exceptional nurses who share our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and have the drive to take us forward, by ensuring the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.
We are investing in our nursing workforce and developing an innovative approach to patient care. At the foundation of this is our new Acute Response Team, who will work across our wards, the emergency department, and critical care areas. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to further develop advanced practice skills in each of these areas.
To support you as an autonomous practitioner you will receive a full training and a development programme, which will include access to the non-medical prescribing course.
For the band 8A posts we are particularly keen to hear from applicants who wish to undertake additional training as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will receive full study leave and funding to complete this.
We are committed to making Medway the safest hospital in Kent for our patients and reducing our incidence of cardiac arrests, sepsis and acute kidney injury. If you are an experienced acute nurse with level 2 or 3 experience and share our passion and commitment to improve safety and drive clinical effectiveness, then we want you to come and join us.
