Organ Donation Week: 7 - 13 September

Date: 28 August 2020

Organ donation week 2020

It’s Organ Donation Week from 7 to 13 September and as we can’t come together as we would usually do, we will be holding an informal web chat to discuss the very important and emotive topic of organ donation.

Please do join us on Monday 7 September at 6pm for a short presentation by Dr Gill Fargher, Chair of the Organ and Tissue Donation Committee at Medway NHS Foundation Trust and Paul Hayden, Clinical Lead Critical Care, Medway NHS Foundation Trust and Alison Hill, Specialist Nurse Organ Donation, NHS Blood and Transplant.

The presentation will cover the law change, recent events and the impact of COVID-19, and most importantly the message of making your wishes known to your loved ones. We will then open for questions and answers.

Take a look at the presentation here: Organ Donation Week presentation

There is no need to book and you can join the meeting via MS Teams using this link at 6pm on Monday 7 September: Join Microsoft Teams Meeting

We recommend downloading the MS Teams app beforehand. (For mobile devices this can be done via the normal app stores and is free of charge).

We hope to see you there and wish you safe and well.
