Show your support for Medway's NHS heroes!

Date: 12 May 2020

Heroes Run Lockdown web
On Sunday 17 May, you can show your support for the NHS heroes at Medway NHS Foundation Trust by taking part in our lockdown hospital heroes run for charity.

You can do it at home - This is your chance to be a real-life superhero and raise funds from your very own living room, bedroom, garden or local area! Just choose your distance, complete the challenge and donate.

There are no rules - apart from the Government’s guidelines on exercise and social distancing during this time. The main thing is to get active, have fun, and pledge whatever you can to help or fundraise for your local hospital.

This is a challenge for all ages and abilities. Why not ask your friends and family to get involved and do the challenge together?  You will receive a medal in the post once you have completed your challenge.

Can't do it on the 17 May?  There are no set rules for this event.  You can complete the challenge before or after the suggested date.

How to get started
  1. Choose your distance - 5k or 10k
  1. Complete the challenge - Run, jog or walk, you can do whatever you like!
  1. Donate online - 5k = £5 or 10k = £10 - or why not set up your own fundraising page and raise as much money as you can!  https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/hospitalheroeslockdownrun2020
