We understand that at the moment, in the midst of so much uncertainty, it can be difficult to know what to do if you’re unwell or have concerns about your health.

It’s important that you know that we are open and we are here. It is safe for you to attend Medway Maritime Hospital and our staff are ready to help you.

It is important to:

  • get medical help if you need it
  • attend any appointments or procedures you have booked, unless you are instructed not to attend
  • come to the hospital if you are advised to by another health provider (such as your GP or NHS111)

James Devine, Chief Executive, said, “We know that, for some people, coming into a hospital during this COVID pandemic can cause anxiety. We would like to reassure our community that we have a range of measures in place to ensure the safety of those coming to our hospital, including appropriate PPE for staff, hand hygiene stations and the wearing of masks on hospital sites, one-way systems and social distancing.

“We are here 24/7 to provide the community with the care it needs; please use us if you need to.”
