Spiritual care
Among the areas where chaplains offer pastoral and spiritual care are:
- bereavement
- religious needs
- pregnancy loss
- end-of-life issues
- facing distressing news
- care of the dying and of their relatives
- the effects of sudden death
- offering a listening ear
Where to find us
The chaplaincy office and the chapel are both located in Blue Zone, Level 2. Chaplains are on site Sunday to Friday and on-call at all times. If you would like to speak to us then please phone 01634 833816 and leave a message, or if urgent switchboard can contact us.
Our chapel
This is a shared space for those of all faiths and those with no specific faith. This can be used by staff, patients and visitors.
Friday prayers
Muslim Friday prayers are held in the chapel each Friday at approximately 1pm.
Sunday morning service
Each Sunday there is a Christian ecumenical morning service in the chapel at 11am. All patients, visitors and staff are welcome. Wheelchair transport to and from the chapel is available on request.
